Pink Lady

The Pink Lady cocktail is a delightful blend of elegance and whimsy, showcasing the smoothness of Posh Gin complemented by a vibrant splash of grenadine and a hint of tart lemon juice. This classic drink features a luxurious froth created by the addition of egg white, giving it a unique texture that dances on the palate.

Ingredients:

100ml Posh Gin
4 tsp Grenadine
1/4 Lemon Juice
Ice
1 large egg white
Grapefruit zest

Instructions:

1. Add the Posh Gin, grenadine, lemon juice, and egg white to a cocktail shaker without ice. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds to create a frothy texture from the egg white.
2. Open the shaker, add ice cubes, and shake again for another 10-15 seconds. This chills the drink and further aerates it.
3. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or rocks glass.
4. Use a peeler to zest a bit of grapefruit over the drink for a refreshing aroma, then drop it in as a garnish.

TIPS

Master the Dry Shake: The first shake without ice (dry shake) is crucial for emulsifying the egg white and creating the luxurious froth. Shake vigorously for at least 10-15 seconds.
